This blog is hosted on WordPress and they require anyone that makes a post to be a registered user.  Here is a step by step guide to get you registered.  It is quick, painless and you will NOT get on any spam lists.  Please take the time to join and contribute to the blogs.  Their value increases with more contributions from users like you.

Step One>  Look for a tag called LOG IN.  It will be somehere along the left or right sides or bottom of the screen, depending on which blog you are looking at. On the WhatcomRadio blog it is on the left side, near the bottom, under the heading “META”. Click the words LOG IN.

Step Two> A screen will come up asking for your WordPress USERNAME and PASSWORD.  You are brand new and don’t have one yet, so look at the bottome of the window for a link called GET A FREE WORDPRESS ACCOUNT.  Click it!

Step Three> Almost done.  Make up a user name (use your call sign if you are a Ham), create a password and type it in twice (please remember it!). Now type in your email address- this is very important because this is what I use to put you in the system as a blog contributor.  Your last choice is a button to either stop now and create your account as a user, or become a user and create your very own blog pages.  The choice is yours.

Step Four> You are DONE!  Welcome to the community.  You will get an automatic email that you should confirm from WordPress.  Next, send ME your email address that you used to register so I can add you to the contibuting member list. (send it to kn0n@WhatcomRadio.org)
